After the Brexit vote, what next and is Diane Abbott MP in trouble?

Thousands of new members have joined the Liberal Democrats over the past few months (and 100s in Hackney) following the referendum vote for Brexit (and Hackney voted 78.5% the other way for Remain). And now that the Tory government, aided by Hackney MP Diane Abbott's vote has voted for article 50 and the progression of Hard Brexit, what should we do now?

We are delighted that Tony Harms has agreed to host this event with our guest speaker Rebecca Taylor, who used to be the Lib Dem MEP for Yorkshire and the Humber.

In order to cover the cost of the food, in which vegetarian options will be available, and entry will cost £12 or £6 if you are on low income.

To get to Tony's house at 60 Lordship Park, take the 106 bus to Queen Elizabeth Walk, or the 141, 341 to Brownswood Road (northbound) /Lordship Park (southbound).

You are welcome to bring friends. Let us know if you are coming as this helps us plan the event.
