Operation Snofrisk in Shacklewell

During the last 2 years I have attended the Shacklewell Ward meeting established by the Shacklewell Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).  These meetings offer an opportunity for the community to engage and raise policing issues.  I chaired the last meeting in May with Jerry, another Shacklewell resident, co-chairing.  Following on from this Jerry and I were asked to observe operation Snofrisk in Shacklewell.

UK's hottest July day on record in Cambridge

I was recently in Cambridgeshire and had the opportunity to join the Petersfield canvassing evening with the Cambridge LibDems.  It was Thursday (25 July) and Cambridge may have recorded the hottest day in the UK at 38.7°C!  The Met Office has yet to confirm the reading.
