Sylvia served as Liberal Democrat councillors for Clissold ward from 1998 - 2002 following a career as a local authority homelessness officer. She is active in local community activities and is Honorary President of Hackney Lib Dems.

Simon is a writer, actor and director as well as a parent and school governor. He was Chair of Governors at Shacklewell Primary for seven years and is the Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate for Hackney North & Stoke Newington. He is currently campaigning for 12,000 new social-rent homes by 2025.
Simon stood in Clissold ward in 2014 and was the Lib Dem candidate for Mayor.

Tony is secretary of the Stoke Newington Conservation Area Advisory Committee and a long-term resident in N16. He has led the Lib Dem response to planning issues such as the Wilmer Place Sainsbury's development and St Mary's Lodge.

Ben works locally on the transport network and lives in Millfields. He is a member of the RSPB and a keen gardener and campaigner for the borough's parks and waterways. Ben is the Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate for Hackney South & Shoreditch.

Spokesperson for Communities, Crime and Policing
Pauline entered public life in 2011 when she was captured on YouTube berating rioters in central Hackney. A former professional jazz singer, Pauline has a long history of activism and advocacy within the community and has been especially active in promoting community integration and the teaching of black history.
Pauline stood in Dalston ward in 2014 and in the 2012 Hackney Central by-election.
